I am a huge believer in waking up to an equal balance of protein, fats and carbohydrates in the morning. And also something a bit sweet if I am honest. This recipe is not only absolutely decadent tasing but an old school reminder of my first days as an athlete - before MetRx invented the first water soluble protein powder - and we had to drink raw egg whites en masse in a shake! Funny how here I am going back to the simple purest sources of nutrients right where I began.

1/2 cup Pitted dates
2 cups Cashew milk
1 raw egg
1tsp cinnamon
1 pinch sea salt
1 scoop vegetarian Protien powder ( optional )
Place everything in a blender and blitz until thoroughly incorporated.
