Forget Echinacea for you winter ills. This hot tonic is the most powerful and delicious herbal winter remedy you can conjure. Hawthorn was used as a powerful medicine that Romans brought with them on battle campaigns. Both Elderberry and Rosehips are found to be used in nearly every ancient culture to fight cold and flu symptoms, support heart health and reduce inflammation and infections. Today there are many studies building fact on to folk wisdom about the array of caroteniods in these winter berries. Not to mention its hibiscus like floral aroma and gentle citrus taste will delight even without a teaspoon of honey.
